lyrics
Staring, evening, late outside a bar
Pale skin, dark hair, dark eyes, red lips charm
Small talk. few drinks, under your spell, here we are
Adults, desire, one night of pleasure, no harm
Midnight temptress
Bad news in a dress
Wear the noose nonetheless
Heavenly sent mistress
Drink the blood, eat the flesh
Majestic goddess
Moon child
Blood's boiling, wide awake
Playing with fire's a definite mistake
But when it burns this good, darling
I'll be the arsonist pouring gasoline
Seven deadly sins
Going through my mind
To the touch of your skin
Forbidden apple, divine
My kingdom for a taste
Throw my life to waste
Black widow in disguise
Mesmerized by these eyes
Tangled by her smile
Poisoned by her lips
Paralyzed by her hips
Devoured alive

An incredibly powerful, emotional and beautiful post-rock album. It's a shame these guys only seem to have done one album and then disappeared, seriously great music! stonerrocks
The stygian duo explore themes of gender dysphoria and oppressive institutions through sludgy doom with a pitch-black underbelly. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2021
A fantastic debut showing from Baltimore metal band Born of Plagues, uniting post-metal's expansive textures with sludge's almighty muck. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2021

This is a rare gem. This is one of those albums you know your going to like before the first cord is struck. This is that album for me. I just had this feeling on seeing the album art that this is going to be special. So much in fact I dropped what I was listening to and bought the CD without even a slight listen. And when I did finally download and listen I was rewarded with something truly special. This album is my album of the year vote. Ya I know it came out in 2015. I don't care. Frederick Jones
